“If you possess a National ID, it will automatically verify your identity using AI. Foreigners need to scan their passports,” he said.

“Those without a National ID can upload a valid government-issued ID. Once registered, users can access the numerous services offered by the app, including the e-report system,” Almirol added.

In June 2023, the government launched the eGov app or eGov PH Super App as a unified platform for government services in the Philippines.

“Instead of navigating countless websites or registering repeatedly on different apps and portals, users can access their information and services all in one place,” Almirol explained.

Moreover, he said the app will open mobile access to the National ID.

“Once you have access to your National ID, you can utilize it for various government services, including PhilHealth, GSIS, job applications, tourism, agriculture, and even DTI services,” he added.

“One of the standout features of the eGov Super App is the eReport system,” Usec Almirol said.

“Users can report different concerns with just a simple click.”

Comments from top Federal Reserve officials suggesting they would like to see a slower pace of rate cuts tempered hopes for another bumper cut at the bank’s next meeting, while Middle East worries pushed gold to a new record.

In a statement on Monday, GSIS said the transport hub dubbed as ‘Project Hub’, will be located at the corner of the Elliptical Road and Commonwealth Avenue.

For example, the mobile program forwards fire incident reports to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).

The eReport feature also integrates with the Department of Trade and Industry’s (DTI) consumer protection services.

Consequently, the public may report online shopping scams and misrepresented products via eGov.

The eTravel feature is a “unified digital platform for passengers entering and leaving the Philippines.

It streamlines border control, enhances health surveillance, and provides valuable insights for economic data analysis.

“It embodies the government’s commitment to efficiency and security in travel processes,” Almirol pointed out.
