After her sudden death at the age of 48, a 2003 interview of Barbie Hsu — in which the “Meteor Garden” star revealed that she wanted to be a grandmother with a big family when she’s 50 — has resurfaced.

Barbie along with her sister Dee Hsu had an interview with Filipino actress-TV host Kris Aquino in 2003, when the Taiwanese celebrities visited the Philippines for ABS-CBN’s “Happy 50 TV” concert.

A short clip from the conversation was shared by the Queen of All Media’s official fan page via Instagram.

“What do you want to be when you’re 50 years old?” Aquino asked the sisters.

Dee responded first, saying she wanted to be a “happy woman” with grandchildren. Dee even quipped that she did not want to run a business at the time, noting that she just aimed to be a “lazy but rich girl.”

Barbie, for her part, followed her sister’s lead and said, “I want to be a shopping queen.”

When asked if she saw herself still in show biz at 50, Barbie replied, “Maybe I’m a grandmom, or have many children.”

Barbie added that she wanted two or three children, which Aquino pointed out was “not many.”

“But they will have children, too,” the Taiwanese actress said, laughing.

Barbie died of pneumonia caused by influenza complication while on a Japan trip. She also reportedly had a history of epilepsy and heart disease.

The grand opening of the 60-hectare Domaine Evremond vineyard, situated on a quiet hillside in Kent, received the royal seal of approval, with the Duchess of Edinburgh Sophie in attendance.
